Lodge Senekal Welcomes New Master
Senekal – 20 September 2025
Lodge Senekal No. 27 installed Bro. Fred Human as Worshipful Master for 2025/2026 in a ceremony attended by
Brethren, spouses, partners, and led by the Assistant Provincial Grand Master Bro. Francois Dauth. The
lodge, founded in 1914, remains a historic landmark in the Free State, with its iconic hall still serving as a place of
fellowship and tradition.

Brotherly Love and Masonic Morals
The ceremony reminded all present of the timeless Masonic principles — Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.
Brethren were encouraged to lead by example, to practice charity, and to remain upright in both private and public
life. These moral teachings, passed down through generations, form the cornerstone of the Lodge’s work in the
community and inspire members and their families to live with integrity and service.
The evening concluded with a festive dinner where Brethren, spouses, and partners joined together in fellowship.
Worshipful Master Human shared his guiding theme for the year:
"Humility is the strength of true courage."
The strong presence of families highlighted the inclusive spirit of the Lodge and set a tone of unity and growth for
the coming year.
